Lisa A. Ekman – Principal
Lisa Ekman is a proven Information Technology executive with extensive experience in leading IT organizations across multiple industries, focusing her efforts on managing IT from both technical and business perspectives to develop platforms and systems that help drive profitability and stability in domestic and multinational companies. Her knowledge crosses diverse industries such as Consumer Packaged Goods, Nutraceutical CPG, Internet Service Providers, Insurance, Real Estate, and Hospitality, Retail and Foodservice. The companies that Ms. Ekman has been fortunate to work for are Transamerica Insurance Group, Nestle USA, EarthLink, Pharmavite, and most recently, Irvine Company. Ms. Ekman’s role within these organizations often expanded beyond IT functions culminating in her last role where she was an integral part of the overall business leadership while implementing an extensive program encompassing 120 separate and distinct applications concurrently. The result of this implementation is an industry leading IT architecture from both an infrastructure and applications perspective.
Lisa Ekman’s has earned a solid reputation for being business focused, results-oriented and committed to excellence in execution. Her breadth of experience spans 25 years, and her main focus is on managing IT from a business perspective as well as all aspects of IT from application design, development and implementation, infrastructure operations, strategic planning, M&A activity, and organic growth from a financial management and IT standpoint.

Prior board activities include being a Board Member of the President’s Advisory Board of California State University Dominguez Hills and the BeAware Foundation.
Ms. Ekman earned an MBA from the University of LaVerne, and earned her BA from California State University, Northridge. Ms. Ekman frequently speaks on IT and motivational topics.
